Where you can see the canon ball that started the American Civil War and many other gems. You get access in the back of the building and admission is free. They even have a genealogy research area that they say gets a lot of use. An assortment of items from the local area, the civil war and WWII can be found here. Also notice the scissors and pencil are on strings because the desk was so messy (see my picture). Let them give you a tour in you are in the area. Once a week they have talks that often attract a lot of people. Worth the visit and make sure to give a donation if you stop in.

Wonderful collection. Includes cannon ball that started Civil War.

A great museum that offers a lot of history in a small area. Historic displays, artifacts and pictures really bring the past to life. Maps and local history books are available for purchase.
